A study into the impact of outdoor activity on children's wellbeing suggests that being outside can also make youngsters feel more confident and capable of trying new things.

Being outside can make children feel confident and capable of trying new things. A total of 451 children took part in outdoor activities such as identifying plants. The group, aged eight and nine, were then all asked to complete a survey.
