The disturbing claim of earlier violence was raised in a legal filing stating shot teacher Abby Zwerner plans to sue the Newport News school district.

“had acted on the information she was provided, then the shooting of Ms. Zwerner would not have happened.”

It also said the boy had threatened to beat up a kindergarten student and “angrily stared down” the school security officer in the lunch room. When that teacher raised concerns to Parker, the assistant principal said the student “had small pockets, insinuating that he could not possibly have a gun on his person,” the notice of claim stated.

That teacher called the school’s office and shared what she knew with a fourth teacher who picked up the phone, the notice stated. The guidance counselor asked if he could search the child for a weapon, to which Parker said “no” because the child’s mother was arriving soon to pick him up, the notice stated.

Why is this kid not in the juvenile detention system?

Yet the parents had a gun and ammunition where this troubled child could get a hold of it.

So many signs of an abused child - why didn't the school district do something?

Why were all these warning signs overlooked? Is this some liberal diversity issue? Back in the 60s, I was admonished for bringing a toy cap gun to school for Show and Tell. No one in any position of authority did anything against this boy in the newspiece.

Teacher Abigail Zwerner sent emails about 6-year-old’s behavior before shootingAbby Zwerner, the Virginia teacher who was shot by her 6-year-old student, had emailed administrators about his behavior and said she felt uncomfortable with him returning to her classroom. White Lives Matter. This is kind of puzzling to me, was someone aware that there was a gun at the school or not? carlquintanilla This is what DEMs and GOPs should be worried about, not their non-sense differences. Uncontrolled flow of content on social media together with glorification of “get rich or die trying”, “being the tough guy” are ruining next generations

Boy who shot teacher allegedly tried to choke anotherThe incidents were described in a notice sent to the Newport News school district by Diane Toscano, an attorney for teacher Abby Zwerner, informing the district that Zwerner intends to sue. The notice of claim, which was obtained by The Associated Press through a public records request, outlines prior behavioral issues the boy had at Richneck Elementary School and troubling interactions he had with teachers and students. Two days before the shooting, the boy allegedly “slammed” Zwerner's cellphone and broke it, according to the claim notice. The document says that several hours before the shooting, at least three teachers and staff members warned school administrators that they believed the boy had brought a gun to school. WHY? Why was more not done to keep this child in some type of a mental care place . Many child psychiatrist answer why this happens and some children never can be helped? Sad to say but have on News more experts to speak on this? Why was this child, who was so obviously mentally disturbed, allowed to be in a classroom? Unreal, sad and preventable. How big is this child that he can do this stuff?

6-year-old who shot his Virginia teacher choked another teacher 'until she couldn't breathe,' lawyer claimsA 6-year-old Virginia boy who shot and wounded his teacher constantly cursed at staff and teachers, chased students around and tried to whip them with his belt and once choked another teacher 'until she couldn’t breathe,' according to a legal notice. Sounds like a real life chucky ! MagicBelle1 yet this kid was still allowed in school. Why aren’t the parents in. Jail. This is what he lived and the only way he knows how to communicate. Those parents should be held criminally liable and investigated in depth for neglect and abuse. He deserves a chance.

6-year-old boy who shot teacher allegedly tried to choke anotherA 6-year-old Virginia boy who shot and wounded his first-grade teacher constantly cursed at staff and teachers, tried to whip students with his belt and once choked another teacher “until she couldn’t breathe,” according to a legal notice. Little Treyvontae was a known troublemaker who should have been suspended months ago. But officials were too worried about being labeled 'racist' that they did nothing. Yikes And the parents kept a gun around with easy enough access that little psycho could get his hands on it. Throw momma in the jail.

Someone tell me about 'equity' again and why these kids shouldn't be suspended, expelled or jailed? How does a 6 year old do all of that to an all grown adult? A mere 6 year old? Either horrible parents or just evil is inside of that kid. Sounds like he needs some major psycho therapy for many years and should be kept in a facility in my opinion.
