Deputy Home Minister Azis Jamman has urged the victim to file a police report regarding the matter.

Semporna district police chief Sabarudin Rahmat said they had forwarded their investigation paper to the deputy public prosecutor , who will decide whether to charge the suspects. “The six suspects, aged between 18 and 62, have been released on police bail while awaiting the prosecution’s decision,” he said when contacted today.

The incident went viral on social media after it was uploaded on Facebook by the account holder, Pejuang Bonok. It garnered 2,500 shares and 1,900 responses from netizens.
