Semporna district police chief Supt Sabarudin Rahmat said that they had completed their investigations and submitted the papers to the deputy public prosecutor for a decision on whether to charge the suspects.
The six suspects, aged between 18 and 62, have been released on police bail pending the decision by the deputy public prosecutors office, he said on Wednesday .In the incident on Oct 21, the 35-year-old kindergarten teacher claimed she suffered bodily injuries after the suspects attacked her with sticks, iron rods and chairs, just as she was going to start her class at 8am.
