A new academic role will investigate its history after estimates that 85% of original funding came from slavery

The University of Bristol is to become the latest top education institution to order a new examination of its historical links to slavery, amid wider attempts by the city to get to grips with its ties to the trade.

instead of moving from apology to apology, a good dose of history lessons may help? There hasn't been a single developed society in the past 5000 years where wealth wasn't based on sorts of slavery - the French Revolution tolled the bell for the end of this gruesome past

Clearly only a slave is properly qualified to examine this. So what? Does the colour of skin really matter? Seriously, how is this remotely controversial? That'll lead to plenty of positive outcomes. I want to investigate the French because of their role in 1066 and all that. Could be legals involved here. only the 'good' bits of British history for the gammons. Otherwise, fragile little mites that they are, how will they feel 'good' about themselves? Every race/ethnicity on earth has been subject to slavery at some point in history, so what this basically implies is that black people have no agency and need white liberal patronage in order to function.
