13 “Just Saying It Out Loud Is Really The First Step To Getting Help.” -Jean Jean Milburn offers oodles of great advice throughout Sex Education, and season 4 is no different. While doing her radio show "Sexology," Jean ends up having a call with her sister Joanna, who has struggled to come to terms with the abuse she faced as a child. Jean tells her the above, which is amazingly relevant to Joanna, but is also a perfect quote for anyone suffering.
10 “A Mother Can Be A Pretty S**t Parent Sometimes And You Can Still Love Them And Want Them To Get Better.” -Maeve A sad character fate in Sex Education season 4 is the death of Maeve's mother, Erin. Though her funeral is somewhat strange, especially after Sean gives a stilted and bitter speech, the event comes together when Maeve gives her eulogy. She admits that Erin was far from being perfect, but that she still loved her.
7 “Yeah, My Mum's Been Asking, But Rock 'N' Roll. I Don't Care. I'm Not Scared…Okay, I Am Actually Really Scared. I'll Go Get Ready.” -Aimee Aimee has always been one of the most enjoyable Sex Education characters, and she has lots of awesome moments in the last season. One such moment is when she and Otis are staying with Maeve after her mother's death, and Maeve's adoptive mother asks if they're going to go to school that day.
4 “My Name Is Eric Effiong...And I’m A Christian, And A Proud Gay Man.” -Eric Another massive moment from Sex Education season 4 is when Eric comes out to his church. After spending the season trying to balance his sexual identity with his religion, Eric stands before his church and reveals that he is gay, and will only be baptized if his church accepts him for who he is. Although the result isn't a perfect one, this moment is amazing for Eric, and clearly gives him the relief he needs.
