Why the need for universities 🤔 learn on the job like I did 😀

Totally agree but the problem is every 6th form college is a now university and nearly all kids go to Uni now that's what's unsustainable !

...it's called a bell curve.

University leaders are part of society, so they should help by lowering fees...

It can help them by not allowing them to waste money and years of their lives on leftist indoctrination camps. No gvt funding for liberal arts and humanities!

By helping poor students it allows not only them but their future families to have a better future. A poor person who can't afford to goto college can't in turn afford to put their children through college. It seems only poor people are forced to goto college on merit alone.

UK university tells Iranian student: go home and get tuition fees in cashUndergraduate at Reading hit by Trump’s sanctions fears ‘economic blockade’ against students This is ridiculous but I think Iranian students family member should find me means to get the money to them maybe travel to a neighboring country and send the money to the student so these student can achieve the hours of studying they have put into their various field of study. It is a UK university. They can certainly have an opinion, but they have no authority over policies set by the United States. This is hardly the first time that financial aggression was taken against Iran. Slightly misleading headline considering it’s due to US sanctions on money transfers from Iran that’s stopping this student from being able to pay...

Cutting tuition fees won’t help poorer students – reduce interest rates instead | David BlunkettThe government’s university funding review must think again about interest rates, says former education secretary David Blunkett Doing both wud help. What is this utter drivel? Universities should be centres of academic learning, not businesses. OK but how about instead of making working class people go into debt they get free education with proper funding by the government? Revolutionary idea, I know.

Tuition fees heading down in 2019?The biggest decision in education for next year will be whether to reduce tuition fees. Government is the reason they are so high. Not where I stay ..... ⬆️⬆️⬆️⬆️ We don’t need so much higher education! All it does is add to the national deficit, line the pockets of wealthy chancellors and disappoint thousands of graduates. Can we have more jobs which aren’t graduate focussed please? Let the universities rot in bankruptcy!
