Well, UK is funding and supporting the terrorist regime in Iran. They also fund the relatives and kids of corrupted politicians with scholarships. Only the normal Iranian civilians who pay for their tuition themselves face such a problem in a terrorist supporting state like UK
Very strange as money can be sent through unofficial channels but the big issue here I suspect is the massive fluctuations of the rate of exchange and the decline in the value of the Riyal.

Why doesn't the Guardian staff pay his fees ? He can pay you back when he gets the money... Presumably, the University doesn't want do anything illegal under US law. I doubt the Vice Chancellor wants to get arrested when he's on holiday with his family in Disneyland.

It is a UK university. They can certainly have an opinion, but they have no authority over policies set by the United States. This is hardly the first time that financial aggression was taken against Iran.
This is ridiculous but I think Iranian students family member should find me means to get the money to them maybe travel to a neighboring country and send the money to the student so these student can achieve the hours of studying they have put into their various field of study.
