More than three-quarters of LGBTQ+ students feel unsafe in school

The research interviewed over 1,200 students from all counties in the Republic of Ireland and also found that nearly 70% of respondents had heard homophobic remarks from their fellow students.One in three reported missing school because of issues surrounding their sexuality or gender identity, while one in ten said they worried they would not be able to complete the Leaving Certificate.BeLonGTo CEO Moninne Griffith said much more needs to be done to make schools LGBT inclusive.

“We saw a heart-warming 99% of students said that they now have at least one teacher or staff member in a school that they can go to for support around being LGBT,” she said.

I fail to see how who you want to bed is a topic for a classroom anyway - stop pushing the agenda. 10% of a fractional minority is even more a fractional minority …….. and I speak from experience. Perhaps they need a safe space ……. Unlike i did growing up 😉

Maybe they should stop teaching these children in schools that they are a victim, and then stop reinforcing that victimhood mentality with ' safe spaces '. Do you all realise you are being psychologically manipulated ? Freud is the biggest tragedy to mans mind ever.

molucco Most autistic kids, kids with anxiety and depression and other conditions don’t feel safe at school. And these kids would be the majority of the alleged LGTQALPHABET SOUP kids.
