A Scots mum has shared hilarious before and after photos of her daughter's first day of school - which saw the youngster completely floored by all the excitement of starting her journey in primary education.
In the photos, which were shared with the Record, Lyla is pictured in the morning looking bright-eyed and bushy-tailed while dressed immaculately in her new uniform, ready for a day of fun. "I was excited for her to go in, though, because she hadn't stopped talking about it all summer. She kept saying she didn't want to go to nursery anymore, she was ready for school.Stacey and her older daughter, Lucy Ann, 17, picked Lyla up from school that day, with the child moaning the whole way home that she was "so tired".
