Nigerian Minister of State for Health, Dr. Olorunnimbe Mamora; Professor of Virology, Oyewale Tomori; and Professor of Molecular Biology and Genomics from Redeemers University, Christian Happi will be attending The Conversation Africa dialogue.

Conversation Africa, a platform that discusses critical socio-economic and political issues across the continent, is organising a science-policy dialogue to discuss how Nigeria handled the COVID-19 pandemic, the lessons learnt during the pandemic, and Nigeria’s preparedness for future pandemics.

The two-hour event with the theme ‘Nigeria and the next pandemic: preparedness, response and vaccine’, will hold virtually on Thursday, 1st of July, 2021 at 10 am WAT . The keynote speaker for the event, Dr. Olorunnimbe Mamora, who has over 30 years of experience in medical practices, will address the lessons Nigeria has learnt over the 16 months of the COVID-19 pandemic.
