Education Minister Dan Tehan has announced that the government's free childcare scheme will end, with fees returning from July 13.

Mr Tehan thanked the sector “for the incredible way they’ve worked over the past few months, providing care for young Australians”. The measure was put in place in April, designed to keep the childcare facilities operating during the coronavirus pandemic.
