Vile mouthed bitter person - a most worthy recipient🤢🤢🤮

Of all the Orders handed out on the weekend, this is the one I am happiest about. I dont know what it means to Prof Mangton, but she means a great deal to this country and her contribution is greatly apreciated and of inestimable value to us all.

Now all we need is politicians to do something to fix the issues. Instead of bribing or forcing indigenous people to be 'white' they should treat them as people with a culture, had countries and work to compensate and make up for the invasion that made them victims.

THis one was deserved. But Abbott and Bishop completely devalued the awards.

I wish she would use her influence for unity & moving forward in reconciliation.

TonyKoc69285191 Certainly well deserved.

1 ] She's Scottish. 2 ] She's right. White Australians should stop killing Aboriginals. And there is no doubt about the endemic hatred of the Blacks by Whites. 3 ] This is the difficult one. Blacks should stop killing Blacks. It's difficult because it is culture.

TonyKoc69285191 Marcia Langton message to the government and police was powerful. “Stop killing aboriginals”. “Stop killing us”.

Congratulations on getting well deserved recognition

Kudos to a very inspirational Australian woman 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

Industrial strength hypocrisy.

Great to see, disappointing timing to be included with Tony Abbott, as this has taken away some of the spotlight from a deserving Australian.

Well deserved award Professor Marcia Langton. Shame about some of the other recipients. Abbott, Bishop, Richardson for example. Will you accept it?

I hope she turned it down, being an honour bestowed by the country of invasion.

Wonderful. What a superb woman and academic she is.

Is there a ceremony where these honours will be presented? Will the national anthem be played? smh auspol
