NSW Health has warned a Sydney school could be closed for up to two weeks after a 16-year-old student became one of 28 people with the coronavirus in the state.

The NSW government is preparing for coronavirus to reach a"concerning phase" over the coming months.

"We are anticipating this virus will have a concerning phase of a number of months ahead of us," Ms Berejiklian said.READ MOREEpping Boys' High School was closed on Friday as a precautionary measure after the boy tested positive for COVID-19.

Our grandkids attend the British International School in Saigon. The government closed all schools from February 5 with a still pending return date of March 16. Teachers have been conducting E-learning classes for students.
