The New South Wales education system has begun an urgent digitalisation of classrooms in case the coronavirus forces a mass shutdown of schools.

Education Minister Sarah Mitchell has ordered her department to implement the technology so students can study and learn from home. The software allows students to attend virtual classes and assemblies from home in the event more schools are shut down for quarantine measures. Laptops and iPads would be provided to pupils who didn't have access to one.
