According to the survey site, the total respondents were 1000 (UK residents ages 14 to 30), but it doesn't break up how many boys and how many girls. Thus, this survey is sketchy and flawed.
You should put that headline on an article that actually says that instead of this one.
I want to actually see the specific wording of the questions asked because the article also says that only 90% of girls think that they have the same right to education as boys. Also I want to know how many actually responded.
