A driver has been slammed for double parking while dropping children outside a school despite living less than 200 metres away.
My fav survey result was when people were asked Were they concerned about road safety for their kids from traffic going to school? - 87% said they were. The same sample were asked Did they take their kids to school in a car? - 89% said they did. Folk are stupid, me included.

wilde I'm not sure from the article what the fine was for: was the driver parked illegally or something? Needless car journeys are certainly environmentally-damaging and clog up the roads, but are they illegal?
