Planet travelling at 24 miles per second has a year just 18 hours long and is almost tearing itself apart

It has been named NGTS-10b and is a so-called 'hot Jupiter' type of exoplanet. The planet, 1,000 light years away, swings around its host stat alarmingly close. Astronomers estimate that in 38million years it will be ripped apart by gravity.
