Our dyslexia 'help' in PS was an alternate curriculum that relied on writing answers in paragraphs. I took it as far as the state education office. They didn't understand my complaint... We homeschool now. It's up to us to teach our child how to interact with the world.
Totally. My daughter with ASD, ADHD & EDS is also mildly dyslexic. She continues to struggle with spelling & receives support, but people say she's not dyslexic because she can read. Teachers still think it's an all or nothing thing.
