UI banning of hijab unconstitutional, Say parents of muslim students vanguardngr.com vanguardnews

The preliminary objection was filed by Mr. Tunde Olutayo, one of the respondents in the matter.

In his response, Counsel to the applicants, Mr. Hassan Fagimite, told the court that he was not opposed to the application for extension of time. Justice Laniran Akintola granted the application for extension of time and adjourned the hearing of the preliminary objection till June 25.

vanguardngr Parents and students who protest against hijab ban should understand the fact that there is rules and regulations as well as dress codes to enable co existence among different religious groups in an institution.

vanguardngr Withdrew ur wards from UI simple. I commend UI board of governors otherwise known as Senate for taking such a good stand. Hijab should be banned in all our schools
