The crisis rocking of the Kwara State University, Malete, was at the weekend resolved.
DAILY POST reported that the Governor had last week approved the appointment of Prof. Kenneth Adeyemi as acting Vice Chancellor for the institution and ordered the outgoing pioneer VC, Prof. Abdulrasheed Nallah, whose tenure ends on July 27, 2019, to proceed on terminal leave, a development which triggered serious uproar.
Consequently, the institution was closed indefinitely as a result of the heat generated by the governor’s directive.
