Just after the Columbine anniversary, this nearby community is crushed by another school shooting

Denver Just a few miles from Columbine High School, gunfire echoed through the hallways of yet another Colorado school.

This time, it was the STEM School Highlands Ranch near Denver. Authorities believe two students, a male and a female, used a pair of handguns to open fire in two classrooms Tuesday.An 18-year-old just days away from graduation was killed trying to protect other students, a classmate said. The attack happened at a school of more than 1,850 K-12 students.Eight other students were shot but survived.

Don't get me wrong, this entire situation sucks but good for him knowing that he needed to defend himself if he couldn't run. Makes me glad that my dad taught me how to defend myself at a young age.
