Ex-archbishop of Canterbury Rowan Williams welcomes plans for fully costed proposals

The former archbishop of Canterbury Rowan Williams has welcomed an “urgent change” by Cambridge University, after it agreed to provide fully costed plans setting out how it could divest multibillion-pound endowments from fossil fuel corporations.

Cambridge University assigns white academic to look at slavery linksScepticism expressed about the decision as the university examines its role in slave trade lol. Clearly only a slave is properly qualified to examine this. So what? Does the colour of skin really matter? Seriously, how is this remotely controversial? The only issue with any researcher taking on a job is their skill-set, experience, and proof of a high academic standard in their work. This is all very silly.
