A team of inspectors made a visit to St John the Baptist Primary and noted that there was “warm and nurturing relationships” which created a happy and inclusive community of faith and learning.

“I am very grateful to the whole team. Staff, parents and partners consistently support us and work very effectively with us, to achieve positive outcomes.Inspectors also noted that staff worked effectively to support children’s learning and wellbeing needs, and the senior team at the school monitored the health and wellbeing of the pupils.

Carole McKenzie, the council’s Executive Director of Education, said: “Well done to Catherine Currie and all her staff for such a well-deserved report.
