It’s nearly that time of year again when parents have to fork over a small fortune to get their children ready for a new school year, however, one welfare scheme can help with costs

Applications are currently open for the Back to School Clothing and Footwear Allowance . The payment is worth €160 for children aged between four and 11, while those between 12 and 22 receiving €285.
