Rochester, N.Y. (WHAM) A local woman who was seriously injured after being hit and dragged by a stolen Kia last year is sharing her story.

63-year-old Rosa Ingrassia claims she was hit and dragged by a stolen Kia while she was walking her dog through the parking lot at Norton Village Park in Rochester back in November 2023. Rochester, N.Y. — A local woman who was seriously injured after being hit and dragged by a stolen Kia last year is sharing her story.

When she leaves her classroom on the last day of school next week, she says that will be the end of her beloved career — seven months after she was found in a parking lot off Master Street in Rochester.She was walking her lab in Norton Village Park last November, when she says she saw a vehicle driving recklessly through the park.

Ingrassia says she suffered broken ribs, a fractured pelvis and a broken femur. Because of these injuries, she's making the difficult decision to retire from teaching earlier than she hoped.
