A British mother-of-two penned a heartbreaking final post to announce news of her death from cancer. Manchester teacher Kate Rackham was diagnosed with breast cancer in November 2016 at the age of 39 despite having no known risk factors. She later developed incurable metastatic or secondary breast cancer. “If you’re reading this, it means I have died,” she wrote to her 14,000 followers on X, formerly known as Twitter, on Thursday. “But do not cry for me.

She was also the co-founder and Trustee of the Fighting To Be Heard Foundation - which aims to raise awareness about incurable secondary breast cancer where the primary cancer spreads to other parts of the body. The most common being the bones, liver, lungs and brain, according to Cancer Australia.
