Barely 4 days after 2019 batch ‘A’ corps members reported for 3 weeks orientation course at the Wailo camp of the National Youth Service Corps in Ganjuwa local government area of Bauchi State, a female corps member, Magdalene Yohanna collapsed at the camp and later died few minutes after she was rushed to Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University Teaching Hospital Bauchi.
However, a doctor who later spoke with our correspondent in confidence said the deceased relatives have been informed of her death but added that he can not speak further because he is not authorised to speak to the press. Our reporter got to the venue of the ceremony at exactly 9:12am to attend the event, after which, he hoped, the interview would be conducted.
As dignitaries left the venue after the ceremony, our reporter was led by a man, who he later learned was the Personal Assistant to the State Coordinator.
