Several students have come across problems in the delayed rollout of the new FAFSA.

PHOENIX — Latest data shows fewer than 30 percent of Arizona high school seniors have completed the, down 18 percent from this time last year, according to the Arizona Board of Regents.

A $500,000 grant from Arizona Governor Katie Hobbs was given to the Arizona Board of Regents to increase resources, workshops and initiatives to get FAFSA completion rates up. Moody will graduate with her associate’s degree this fall, with plans to head to ASU to get her bachelor’s degree and then go to law school.Brandon McKinley, Student Services Analyst with Recruitment and Outreach at South Mountain Community College, said students have encountered information and technology roadblocks and challenges.
