The director of Stellenbosch University's school of public leadership Professor Zwelinzima Ndevu said the MKP would get under 15% in the elections.

"One can argue that Zuma was in government, and therefore, it is unfair to say they don't have experience in government; however, we know that his term was marked by corruption and dysfunctional institutions. Zuma was at the centre of the ten wasted years," he said."The 29th of May 2024 will be remembered as a day when South Africans took to the polling stations in large numbers to make their voices heard.
