Arkansas State University is among 19 two- and four-year universities across the state to receive grants to recruit, train, and retain nurses in the community.

The college has a list of ideas they plan to use the grant funding for such as expanding and enhancing clinical programs, building recruitment and retention strategies, and cohort sizes. “Utilize some of that money to advance our technology, so students can practice in real-life simulations in a safe environment such as our skills lab,” Davidson said.
