Trinity Christian and St. Johns Country Day are headed to the high school baseball state semifinals.

The Conquerors ended the fairytale season of Bishop Snyder in the Region 1-3A final, winning 8-6 to advance to the state semifinals. Trinity will face Miami Westminster Christian on Monday at 10 a.m. Trinity chased Snyder ace Aidan King after three innings, six Ks and a 4-3 lead.The Cardinals surged right back and wound up retaking the lead on a two-run homer by Cody Boshell in the top of the fifth.

The Cardinals had 11 hits, three by Tristan Silver and two apiece by King and Boshell. But four errors stung and Trinity capitalized. In Region 1-2A, St. Johns Country Day got a two-run walk-off homer from James Gilson to lift the Spartans to an 8-6 win over North Florida Christian and back into the state semifinals.

Kyle Boylston hit a solo homer to open the seventh and knot things up. Boylston had three hits, Gilson and Kody Daneault added two each and the Spartans overcame five NFC homers to reach the final four for the third time under coach Tom Lucas. NFC led 6-5 after a homer in the top of the seventh to set the table for the St. Johns heroics.Trinity Christian vs. Westminster Christian , 1 p.m.
