In contrast of rallies at other campuses across the United States, the group in Logan was involved in a much more subdued demonstration. Carpenter said the group wanted to educate Utahns on the history of the disputes between Israel, Palestine and Hamas. “I can’t speak for every country across the country, nor every specific student body – what they do is their specific decision in how they want to work with those specific universities. What we would like here, today, is to have a peaceful demonstration,” Carpenter said.
