The damage wasn't discovered until about 5 a.m. Tuesday when police responded to the 6-12 public school for a report of a break-in. Aurora Public Schools said the damage was"significant" and as a result the school was closed Tuesday while the school was cleaned. It reopened on Wednesday.Police shared photos of the suspects and asked the public to help identify them. In one of the photos, one of the suspects appears to be carrying a large rock.

Anyone who recognizes either of the males is asked to contact Detective Vance at 303-739-1825. Callers can also remain anonymous by submitting tips through Metro Denver Crime Stoppers. Metro Denver Crime Stoppers works by assigning a code to people who anonymously submit a tip. Information is shared with law enforcement, and Crime Stoppers is notified at the conclusion of the investigation.
From there, an awards committee reviews the information provided and, if the information leads to an arrest, the tipster will be notified. Rewards can be collected using the code numbers received when the tip was originally submitted.
