US student allegedly murdered after getting into car she thought was her Uber ride

A university student in the US has allegedly been murdered after mistakenly entering a car she thought was an Uber she had ordered.Ms Josephson's body was found in secluded woods, about 105km from where she was picked up

Samantha Josephson had been out with her roommates in Columbia, South Carolina, and had arranged an Uber ride when she became separated from them. Ms Josephson got into a black Chevrolet Impala in Columbia's Five Points entertainment district around 1:30am on Friday.

How regulations and safeguards have been discarded........sad for the girl and family but every car can be a Uber and plenty of predators out there.
