Police in Melbourne are seeking assistance in locating a man who tried to abduct an 11-year-old girl as she was walking home from school. The incident occurred in Doncaster East, and the girl managed to escape and seek help from a nearby adult.

Police are appealing for help to find a man who attempted to kidnap an 11-year-old girl while she was walking home from school in Melbourne’s east.

It is believed the Audi fled south on Taurus Road.

“A little girl should feel safe to walk home from school,” she said. “She was terrified. She felt that she was going to be taken by this male.
