Play School presenter Teo Gebert celebrates 20 years in 'dream job' sparking kids' imagination

After a quick coffee, an early morning drive to the ABC's Sydney studios and voice warm-up, it's time for Teo Gebert to be silly.

"It's not teaching the kids, but helping them to imagine and play and be a little bit naughty. He was 26 years old at the time and a budding theatre, film and television actor with no thought of children's entertainment.But when the Play School audition came up about three years later, he took the opportunity and got the job. "They're living a lot in their imagination 90 per cent of the time, so I'm just trying to spark that. And I just love it, I'm very lucky to be doing it."
