Birch Bark Canoe,Confederation College,Embark Program

A birch bark canoe constructed by students in Confederation College's Embark program will be exhibited at Lakehead University. The canoe, named Bigwaji-waabiwan, was built with assistance from the Fort William Historical Park's Indigenous Heritage Program. Photos from the project will be displayed at Lakehead's Centre for Advanced Studies in Engineering and Sciences building.

A project completed in Confederation College's Embark program will be displayed at Lakehead University. A birch bark canoe, constructed by students with help from the Fort William Historical Park's Indigenous Heritage Program, is part of an exhibition at Lakehead Arts Integrated Research Centre.

Photos from the project will be displayed alongside work by other local artists.
