A former staff assistant at Ben Lomond High School in Ogden was arrested Monday after investigators located a video allegedly showing her engaged in a sexual act with a student.
Police were alerted to the alleged sex abuse on March 5, a police affidavit states. During the investigation, a juvenile witness reported seeing a video of Rubio and the student engaging in a sexual act. The witness identified Rubio as the woman in the video. Rubio was interviewed by police on Monday, and after being advised of her Miranda rights, she admitted to performing oral sex on the student for approximately 30 minutes.
Rubio was booked into the Weber County Jail just after 8 p.m. on Monday on suspicion of first-degree felony forcible sexual abuse and first-degree felony forcible sodomy.
