Researchers at the National University of Singapore have developed a novel triple-junction perovskite/Si tandem solar cell with a record-breaking power conversion efficiency of 27.1%. This achievement was made possible by integrating a new anion, cyanate, into the perovskite structure. The cyanate-integrated perovskite solar cell is known for its stability and high energy efficiency.
