The University of Houston College of Pharmacy has received $1.4 million in funding from CPRIT to fight familial adenomatous polyposis (FAP), a rare genetic disorder. FAP can cause hundreds or thousands of polyps in the colon or rectum and can lead to cancer if not treated.
