Notting Hill is located at 4000 Eglinton Ave W. in Toronto’s west end. Tonkin Liu is led by partners Anna Liu and Mike Tonkin. Lanterra has also partnered with OCAD University and the Etobicoke School of the Arts to fund a mentorship program led by Liu and Tonkin. Students will work with Liu as the Notting Hill art project proceeds through the research and design phase, the fabrication phase and the installation phase. Tonkin Liu was awarded the commission after a selection process undertaken by an advisory committee of local artists along with Lanterra chairman Mark Mandelbaum and Richan Art principal Emma Richan. a sculpture in Burnley, which was selected as one of 21 landmarks that define Britain in the 21st century.
