A car crash in an East Oak Cliff neighborhood this weekend led to the discovery of a murder.The victim was a 17-year-old Carter High School football player. Police believe his shooting death may have started as a robbery.Dallas police were called to Easter Avenue, not far from E. Kiest Boulevard, just before 9 p.m. Sunday for a car that had crashed.Police say 17-year-old Keymere McCriston was found shot inside the vehicle.

Dallas police believe the two teenagers were shot during a robbery, but they didn't say what was stolen, if anything.Police did not say where the robbery took place and how close it was to the crash. Police also didn’t say if the teenagers knew who robbed them. Neighbors recall hearing the crash."The one big boom. The first thing I thought was, ‘Oh my gosh! Did they hit my car?’ Because it was just that loud," said neighbor Denise Waters.
