Banning LGBT classes is dangerous - parents should want to expand their children's horizons, not narrow them

The first time I was “exposed” - to borrow a phrase from Andrea Leadsom - to the existence of LGBT people was at primary school. Not, as many children today are, in a lesson about equality and our differences and how there are many different ways to be a family, but with the casual toss of “gay” as a slur across the table from one of my classmates.

See, as much as I agree telling parents what they “should” be wanting to do is what causes the issue. People are sick and tired of being told what to do, how to behave and what they should think. We want a free world but we don’t want adverse opinion. Doesn’t make sense.

And not brainwash them into thinking they can magically change their gender whenever the mood suits.

Parents want their kids to be kept from LGBT propanada that can bias kids' sexual evolution, kids are very vulnerable and their sexuality will accept any sexual signals. Every doctor know something that was sexual once will be sexual for the person forever.

Schools in Birmingham have taken LGBT classes off the curriculum due to pressure from Muslim families. Would there have been the same response if those of the Christian/Jewish/Hindu etc faiths had complained?

I was more interested in collecting football stickers and conkers than all this pc bullshit.

Are we going to teach our children about the diverse families that suffer alcoholism and domestic abuse as well? Just to be inclusive? This Identity Reform cult that pervades and poisons our society must end.

They don't a lesson to discover what sexuality they are, school is there to teach them to pass academic certificates.

Then parents can teach them...leave math and science to school
