LGBT and diversity lessons have been indefinitely suspended at a school until weekly protests by parents are resolved.
Inspectors said ‘a very small, but vocal, minority of parents are not clear about the school’s vision, policies and practice’, and that teachers should work on ‘further engagement’ with mothers and fathers. ‘Until a resolution has been reached, No Outsiders lessons will not be taught at Parkfield and we hope that children will not be removed from school to take part in protests.’
But the lessons sparked off weekly protests outside its gates, with mothers and fathers objecting to the teaching of the No Outsiders project.Parent Irfan Musa told Sky News last week: ‘We want to bring our children up the way we want to bring them up. He’s my child.‘I do understand he needs to learn stuff later in life.He added: ‘Some people are gay innit, not my people ain’t.’
Common sense prevailed
These people cause problems full stop .
Why what's there problem my child has been taught and understands about gay people etc. There a joke that lot ..Maybe they should teach there kids how there religion believes in under age sex which is utterly disgusting God knows what else .
They should get an injunction to stop parents from protesting right outside of the school premises. Plus each parent needs to sit down with the school and see for themselves what is actually being tort.
Got to stop pandering to bigots.
Why not? Just because some Muslim parents don't like it. Tough you live here then abide by its rules and laws. Why should we be the ones to change? Why can't they change thier stance on this
