Bernie Sanders’ first appearance in California as a 2020 presidential candidate was not at a mega-rally like the ones that defined his previous bid, but at a speech before sun-baked picketers in front of UCLA’s medical center, writes melmason.

“It is important to walk the walk as well as talk the talk,” said Jeff Weaver, a senior campaign aide, noting the senator’s longtime support of unions.

Campaign employees will be represented by United Food and Commercial Workers Local 400, which represents 35,000 workers in retail, healthcare and other sectors in Maryland, Washington, D.C., and elsewhere on the East Coast. Weaver said negotiations will start soon. “I anticipate they will be extremely collegial and will come to very quick and mutually agreeable conclusions,” Weaver said.Washington Gov. Jay Inslee

Fun fact: Bernie Sanders has never applied to or worked an ordinary job in his entire life. Career Politician living off the backs of the taxpayers while criticizing them.

I'm related to Cesar Chavez, I can tell you first hand walking picket lines for unionized workers doesn't qualify someone to be President.

Is Bernie gonna fork over the$$$$$ to pay for all this “Free” stuff...Nope!!.. Will. They union people… Along with all of us other taxpayers..be forking over the$$$$ for the”Free” stuff.. You betcha, Honey!!!

BERNIE DENOUNCES CANDIDACY !!!!! I called it.

Did you even mention the names of the unions once, old man? Do you even know them? Let me help you with that: AFSCME and UPTE. Do you even know why we were out there on the picket lines (or not)? Do you know that these unions have gone contract-less for nearly 2 years? OLD MAN!!?

'I'm here today as somebody who didn't get a full time salaried job until I was 41 years old & have been a government employed leech ever since!'
