SAN ANTONIO — A couple was hit by a driver while they were attempting to cross a street near St. Mary's University late Saturday night.responded to the intersection of NW 36th St. And Lark Avenue around 9:30 p.m. for reports of a motor vehicle versus pedestrian accident.
According to police at the scene, a man and woman were attempting to cross NW 36th when a driver hit them both with his car. The driver of the vehicle remained on scene and is cooperating with police. The couple were taken to the hospital, the woman in critical condition while the man is in stable condition.
