Benjamin, 14, was walking home after school on Monday about 3:35pm when he was confronted by a group of unknown offenders in Glen Huntly, Melbourne's south-east.
Victoria Police Inspector Scott Dwyer told reporters on Thursday detectives believe the teen gangster is suspected to be the"principal offender". Benjamin's father Kiriati has since spoken out about the terrifying ordeal that has rocked the family, as he remains by his son's bedside at Royal Children's Hospital."I can't believe this has happened. a really good kid really smart."It is understood Benjamin was run over as he fell out of the moving Volkswagen.
