New Northern Ireland Under 21 boss Tommy Wright insists his players need to learn fast after crashing to a shock 1-0 defeat to Luxembourg on Thursday.

It proved a hugely frustrating afternoon at Mourneview Park, with Luxembourg's celebrations at the final whistle highlighting how big a result it was for the visitors. "But our keeper really didn't have a save to make in the first half apart from the goal. The goal was disappointing in terms of the build-up to it.

"With the quality we have on the pitch we didn't create enough. We had to do more in the second half, especially in the final six or seven minutes, and then injury time.
