Researchers stressed the importance of quitting after a diagnosis. It’s truly amazing to me how there is so much science to prove smoking is literally the worst and people continue to do it anyway. My uncle is a chain smoker and was diagnosed about 18 months ago with throat and neck cancer. After a massive operation and radio therapy he is now cancer free. Continued to smoke throughout his treatment too.
